FET (Field effect Transistor)

FET:

In conventional transistor both the majority and the minority carriers are involved,hence this type of transistor is reffered as bipolar transistor but in field effect transistor current flow is carried by majority carriers.

Microwave FET has a capability of amplyfy small signal up to the frequency range of x band with low noise.
